Our Relaxing Teeth Whitening Procedure

Before you get your teeth whitened, you may want to learn about the procedure used at Serene Dental Care.

When you come for your appointment, we use isolation materials to protect your gums and mouth. Then, we take a “before” picture. Later, you can use the picture to see how much more attractive your smile looks.

After taking your picture, one of our professionals will apply the whitening gel and use a light source to activate it.

You’ll undergo three 20-minute application sessions. The whole process only takes an hour. During that time, you can watch television, listen to audiobooks, relax or even take a nap.

Following the procedure, we take an “after” picture. You’ll be shocked by how much whiter your teeth look!

How Long Do Teeth Whitening Results Last?

If you see your dentist twice a year for cleaning and avoid products that can stain your teeth, you can expect your teeth whitening results to last for up to two years.

The way you treat your teeth will make a big difference in how long the results last, though. Some of the products you should avoid include:

The specific results vary from person to person, but you can usually extend the beautiful results of your teeth whitening procedure by following your dentist’s directions and using the take-home kit.
